Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Talynza handles personal information when you use the Talynza mobile application, website, and related services.

Effective and last updated: 8 September 2026

We use data to provide Talynza’s creative community features.
We do not sell personal information or use it for behavioural advertising.
You control what becomes public and can request account deletion.

1. Who we are and what this covers

Talynza ("Talynza", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Talynza app and related web and backend services. Talynza helps talent, media creators, fashion and beauty creatives, production professionals, creative professionals, event professionals, and clients build profiles, discover one another, publish creative boards, and collaborate.

This policy applies to the Talynza Android application identified by package name com.deepak.talynza, the Talynza iOS application, our website, and the services that support them.

2. Personal information we collect

Account and sign-in information

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive information needed to create and secure your account, such as your name, verified email address, profile image when the provider makes one available, provider account identifier, and authentication tokens. We do not receive your Google or Apple password.

Profile, portfolio, and professional information

You may provide a display name, date of birth, gender, city, country of residence, nationality, biography, languages, skills, experience, profile type and specialities, work interests, availability, preferred locations, travel preferences, photos, video files or links, and other portfolio information. For relevant talent roles, you may also provide height, weight, body measurements, clothing and shoe sizes, hair colour, and eye colour.

Content and activity

We process boards, mood boards, storyboards, captions, descriptions, media, links, collaboration interests, accepted collaboration discussions, shortlists, recently viewed profiles, and profile or passport publishing choices. Messages connected to a board are visible only to the accepted participants in that discussion.

Device, notification, and technical information

If you enable notifications, we process a push notification token, device platform, and a device label so we can deliver and manage notifications. Our systems and service providers may also process technical information such as IP address, browser or app type, device and operating-system information, request timestamps, security events, and diagnostic information needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service.

Information received automatically or from others

Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, Firebase, and other infrastructure providers send us the account and technical information necessary to provide their services. Other Talynza users may provide information about you when interacting with your public profile or content, expressing collaboration interest, or participating in a private discussion with you.

3. How we use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • create, authenticate, secure, and maintain your account and sessions;
  • save onboarding progress and provide profile, portfolio, and public passport features;
  • operate creative feeds, boards, discovery, filters, shortlists, recently viewed profiles, collaboration requests, and private board discussions;
  • match searches and collaboration opportunities with profile types, specialities, skills, availability, languages, and locations;
  • send service and collaboration notifications when you allow them;
  • provide support, investigate problems, prevent fraud or misuse, and keep Talynza safe;
  • understand and improve the reliability and usability of our services; and
  • comply with applicable law and enforce our terms and policies.

We do not use personal information for cross-app tracking or behavioural advertising.

4. When personal information is shared

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only as needed in the following circumstances:

  • With other Talynza users and the public: information you deliberately publish, including public profiles, portfolio passports, and public boards, can be viewed by others and may be accessible without signing in. Private drafts remain private. Accepted board discussions are shared only with their participants.
  • With service providers: Firebase and Google Cloud support authentication, push notifications, hosting, and technical infrastructure. Google and Apple support the sign-in method you select. Hosting, database, storage, and operational vendors may process data on our instructions to run Talynza.
  • For legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or defend legal claims.
  • During a business change: information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.

5. Device permissions and your choices

  • Photos and media: used only when you choose content from your library to upload to a profile, portfolio, video section, or board.
  • Notifications: used to deliver service and collaboration updates after you grant permission. You can change notification permission in your device settings.
  • Location: Talynza currently uses locations that you type or select. The app does not request GPS or precise-location permission.

Declining an optional permission may limit the related feature but does not prevent you from using unrelated features.

6. Public content and profile visibility

You choose whether eligible content is private or public. A published passport is designed to be publicly viewable without a Talynza account. Public profiles, portfolio items, and boards can be seen, copied, or shared by people outside Talynza, so do not publish sensitive information that you do not want others to see.

You can change visibility settings or remove content through the relevant editing tools. Removing public content stops future display by Talynza, but copies already made by others or retained for legitimate legal, safety, or backup purposes may remain for a limited period.

7. How we protect information

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. These include encrypted network connections, access controls, protected server-side refresh cookies for the website, and Keychain or Keystore-backed secure storage for mobile session credentials. We also limit provider access to what is needed to deliver the service.

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Please protect access to your Google or Apple account and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access to Talynza.

8. How long we keep information

We retain account, profile, content, collaboration, and messaging information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service. Security logs, session records, and push tokens may be retained for shorter operational periods and removed or replaced as they expire.

After deletion, limited information may remain temporarily in protected backups or be retained where required for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security, or enforcement. When retention is no longer necessary, we delete or irreversibly anonymise the information.

9. Account and data deletion

You may request deletion of your Talynza account and associated personal information at any time. Email us from the address connected to your Talynza account and use the subject Talynza account deletion request. We may ask you to verify account ownership before completing the request.

Request account deletion

What is deleted: after verification, we delete or irreversibly anonymise your account, profile, private portfolio information, boards, collaboration records, private board messages, shortlists, recently viewed records, stored sessions, and registered push tokens, except information we must keep for legitimate legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

10. Children and guardian-managed talent

Talynza is not intended for children to create or manage accounts independently. A child-talent profile must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian who is authorised to provide the child’s information and consent to its use. Guardians should publish only information and media that are appropriate for a public professional profile.

If you believe a child’s information has been provided without proper guardian authorisation, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

11. International processing

Talynza and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Data-protection laws may differ between countries. Where required, we use appropriate contractual, technical, and organisational safeguards for international transfers.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Talynza changes or as legal requirements evolve. We will publish the revised policy here and update the date above. When a change is material, we may also provide notice in the app or through another appropriate channel.
